Union Square
Raeburn Drilling & Geotechnical (Northern) Ltd, have been carrying out, over a number of years, various site works relating to Aberdeen's recently opened Union Square Development. . Works Have included initial the ground investigations, BS 1377 lab tests, Plate Load Tests Sand Replacement Tests and installation of gas & water monitoring boreholes.
Situated between the Harbor and Aberdeen's central railway/bus station Union Square is an entirely new development and destination for Aberdeen. A £250 million scheme to provide a combination of traditional mall shopping and retail terrace. When completed, the scheme will be the largest development of its type in Scotland, providing 20,000m2 of retail units, a 15,000m² retail terrace, a 4,200m2 multiplex cinema, 10,000m2 of leisure and catering accommodation, 1,700 parking spaces and a new civic square.
