Tullos Hill and Ness Farm Landfill, Aberdeen
Raeburn Drilling and Geotechnical (Northern) Ltd carried out extensive Geotechnical and Environmental investigation for our clients on the former landfill sites at Tullos Hill and Ness Farm Landfill, Aberdeen. Works included:
- Nearly 200 boreholes using rotary, shell and auger and terrier rigs;
- Over 400 machine and hand excavated trial pits;
- Topographical, Drainage CCTV and environmental surveys;
- Extensive asbestos and radiation investigations;
- Gas and water monitoring;
- Over 900 samples were taken for laboratory testing;
- Comprehensive reporting services.
