Raeburn Drilling & Geotechnical Ltd will allocate sufficient funds and resources as may be required to ensure that our statutory duties are met at all times and the implementation of its' integrated management policy.
Each employee will be given such information, instruction and training as is necessary to enable the safe performance of work activities.
It is the duty of management to ensure the implementation of this policy and that all processes and systems of work are designed to take account of health and safety and that employees are properly supervised at all times.
It is the duty of each employee to stop work where serious or imminent danger to persons, the environment or property is foreseen.
Adequate facilities and arrangements will be maintained to enable employees and their representatives to raise health and safety issues at all times and also through safety meetings.
Competent personnel will be appointed to assist us in meeting our statutory duties including, where appropriate, specialists from outside Raeburn Drilling & Geotechnical Ltd.
Employees shall co-operate with management in any training schemes required to ensure their competency is maintained to the appropriate standard and to enable all statutory duties to be complied with. The successful implementation of this policy requires total commitment from all levels of employee, from the boardroom to the site.
Each individual has a legal obligation to take reasonable care for their own health and safety, and for the safety of other people who may be affected by their acts or omissions. The Quality, Health & Safety Manager is responsible for regularly monitoring the policy to ensure that the objectives are achieved. It will be reviewed at least annually and, where necessary, revised in the light of legislative, organisational changes, accident investigations or the result of audit review.
