Raeburn Drilling and Geotechnical Ltd offer a national water well drilling, installation and testing service to meet all your domestic, agricultural or industrial requirements.
The Company utilises a wide range of drilling equipment, including modern, all terrain hydraulic drilling rigs to gain access to difficult sites.
If you are not aware of the benefits of your own water supply, we can provide expert advice to suit your individual requirements and guide you through the process of planning, construction and licensing.
Our customers range from water authorities throughout the UK to individual farmers and householders. We have recently undertaken a contract to install public water supplies in the Caribbean.
Resources
- Over 60 Drillers with appropriate NVQ level 2 Qualifications and holding Blue CSCS Skilled worker Cards
- All lead Drillers are experienced in a wide range of water well drilling techniques.
- With the emphasis on quality and safety, site operatives are wholly employed by the company remuneration is time based, not production bonus related.
- Over 40 rotary and percussion rigs including various lorry, tractor and track mounted units incorporating a selection of chuck and top drive drilling equipment.
Capabilities
- Complete water supply solutions for private and industrial needs.
- Soft and hard ground boring at diameters of up to 650mm up to 250m.
- Drilling Using a variety of drilling methods e.g. Cable percussion, Direct Rotary, Mud Flush, Down-the-hole hammer in conjunction with air, water, mist or foam.
- Pump testing carried out in accordance with BS6316 Flow rates in the range of 0.1m3 to 200m3 per hour
- Monitoring of flow rates, water level, temperature and conductivity by means of data logger.
- Personnel experienced in submersible pump installation and removal, with supervisors having attended Groundfoss Pump Training Academy.
- Wellmaster Rising Main Approved installers and suppliers
- Full well design capacity available from initial borehole/well location through to final pump and head work installation.
- Capability to provide full refurbishment of existing wells
- Filtration packages available fro removal of Iron, Manganese etc, as well as ultraviolet treatment.
